We were glad that we decided to visit the Indroda Nature Park today since it was a huge park with different sections to it. This is a perfect place for a picnic and the kids would be extremely excited to go to the different sections of the park, especially the dinosaur park. It has to have several sections, since occupying 428 hectors of land requires many attractions within it.
We first went to the Botanical garden section. The trees and the plants were almost similar to the ones that we saw in Punit Van and Sarita Udhyan. We then proceeded to the Dinosaur Park and Fossil Section. This section has the skeleton and statue works of different kinds of dinosaurs. It shows how the dinosaurs inhabited the earth during the ancient times and a chart explains the reason that led to their extinction.
The Fossil section shows the eggs and fossil remains of the dinosaurs. This is the best place for the children to visit and study the history of these huge animals that once walked the surface of the earth. After gaining enough knowledge about these animals, we walked over to the zoo, to look at the other “living” animals there.
The park, beautifully maintained, has well-fed animals. The tigers, lions, cheetahs, foxes, bears etc. some of the ferocious animals that we could see. The small animals were in a different section and the water animals in a different enclosure. The bird park has several varieties of birds including the migratory ones. Peacocks, parakeets, herons, geese, ducks and several other birds were visible. We visited the snake park and saw the intimidating python.
In the marine section, we saw the different fishes, turtles and several such water species. The best thing about the place is that every information was in writing and it gives the people the opportunity to know more about the different animals, birds and reptiles. After exploring the place, we were so hungry and went to the hotel within the park to have lunch. We spent time in the park, relaxing and chatting until 4pm and then were on our way to the hotel. This was a fantastic trip!
